Representatives from the Maine Center for Economic Policy, along with Maine People’s Alliance, Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition and Maine Education Association, were among those who traveled to D.C. to speak with members of Congress.
MECEP President and CEO Garrett Martin said the group was able to meet with all four members of Maine’s delegation. He participated in the discussions with independent U.S. Sen. Angus King and Republican U.S. Sen. Susan Collins.
