The Maine Center for Economic Policy says that’s 0.4% of all Maine’s taxpayers.
The tax would generate about $150 million in two years.
The Center for Economic Policy writes in part: ““For too long, Maine’s tax code has asked the most of those with the least. Now, we’re on track to change that.”
