A new report from a Maine nonprofit says enhanced ICE operations back in January have cost the state millions.
The study done by the Maine Center for Economic Policy used school absentee data to estimate how many people in the workforce were staying at home. The nonprofit works to advance policies that help Mainers struggling financially.
