Garrett Martin from the Maine Center For Economic Policy says it didn’t show them anything they didn’t already know.
“An astonishingly high amount of households in Maine and across the country are barely able to make ends meet,” Martin said. “This is not a phenomenon associated with individual choices. It is a structural problem.”
